Katie Polus is a Senior Associate in the Taxation Services Department at Purk & Associates, P.C. With 7 years of accounting experience, Katie is a well-rounded associate with specialties in corporate tax returns at the federal, state, and local levels. She enjoys working with clients throughout the year consulting on business matters, preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, as well as researching complicated tax matters. Prior to joining Purk & Associates, she assisted in all tax matters for a large privately held company, including the preparation, support, and review of tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions.


Katie earned her Master’s & Bachelor’s Degrees in accounting from St. Louis University, where she accepted the Vice-Presidential Scholarship. She was a Cook Scholar, Accounting Scholar, and was heavily involved in the Service Leadership Program.
